How to assemble Viper:

VIPER comes about 95% assembled, there are some final assembly and adjustments needed, like the front wheel, the handlebar, the seat, the pedals, the headlight, the fenders, and the rear rack.

How to install the front wheel?

There is a quick release skewer for installing the front wheel, place the front wheel on the wheel hub, then tighten and lock the quick release skewer.

There is a spring on each side of the quick release skewer. The small end of the spring is inward, and the big end is outward. The nuts on the front wheel do not need to be removed.

In addition, please make sure both sides of the fork are clipped on the hub, not on the quick release skewer.

*Please check the tire position before and after inflating the tire, inspect the wheel to make sure the bead seat line is aligned to the rim, the bead is uniformly seated, and the inner tube is not poking out from the underneath of the tire.

How to install the pedals?
  1. Look for the “L” or “R” sign on the axle or wrench flat.
  2. The left pedal needs to tighten counterclockwise, the right pedal is tightened clockwise.
  3. The thread of the pedal and crank arm needs to be aligned carefully. If the thread is misaligned, the crank will be mangled or cross-threaded.
  4. It is suggested to tighten the pedals with a pedal wrench and use some anti-seize compound if have.
How to install the fenders and the rear rack?

How to turn on the bike?

1) Install the fully charged battery on the bike;2) Insert the ignition key on the right side of the handlebar to turn on the power;3) Long press the M button on the display to turn on the system.

4) PAS 1 or 2 is the recommended starting speed (PAS 0 means no motor assist).

5) You can now ride the bike by using the twist throttle or pedals (with power assist).

How to change the mileage display from metric to English scale?

Please follow the steps or video below to change the settings:

1) Long press '+' and '-' at the same time to enter settings.

2) Press 'M' till the display shows '02' (mileage unit).

3) Press '+' or '-' to change it, '0' is KM, '1' is MILE.

4) Long press '+' and '-' at the same time to save and quit the settings.

About the keys:

One set of keys (smaller) is for ignition on the right side of the handlebar:

The other set of keys (bigger) is to lock/unlock the battery on the bike, it is wrapped with foam together with the battery.

Each key set has two same keys, we suggest you keep one on each at home just in case.

Warranty: 

To make a warranty claim always keep handy the bicycle model, date of purchase, bicycle serial number as well as the order number on our website. 

Every Senada electric bicycle on our website comes with a 2 Year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship on its frame, motor, controller, and display that could affect the electric bicycle's function. 

Every Senada Li-ion battery on a Senada e-bike comes with a 1 Year warranty, the warranty includes service coverage for a defective battery. If it is out of warranty, Senada offers battery service for a charge. 

All rechargeable batteries are consumables and have a limited lifespan — eventually their capacity and performance decline such that they need to be replaced. As batteries age, they can contribute to changes in e-bike performance. A Senada Li-ion battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity at 500 complete charge cycles when operating under normal conditions. 

This warranty applies only to the original registered owner of the Senada bicycle and is not transferable. 

This limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, malfunctions, or failures due to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, damage, or failure due to accident or other improper use, installation of third-party components, parts, or accessories, or any products that have been modified from manufacturer’s specifications. The battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear, or water damage. 

We highly suggest using a photo or a short video (no more than 25MB) to illustrate the issue when contacting us, it will help us diagnose the problem quickly and clearly, then provide further assistance to solve it. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE WARRANTY 

For your reference, please refer to below comprehensive warranty: 

  1. Frame – are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for entire life. Paint finish is considered consumable and is not part of the warranty. 
  1. Display, Controller and Motor Assembly – are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of Years from purchase. 
  1. Original Batteries– are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 1 Year from the date of purchase.

During the year of service – A defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery will remain unchanged from the original purchase date.

The battery warranty does not include damage from power surges, use of third-party charger, improper maintenance or other such misuses, normal wear, or water damage (including rust). 

The battery is sealed and cannot be opened or fixed. The battery should not have a percentage of nominal charge retention of 60% or less. Misuse of the battery, negligence, or attempt to open or repair it without Senada and/or Senada authorized service provider's permission will void the warranty. 

  1. General: The bicycle is backed up by a Year main warranty, certain components listed on this chart or consumables may be subject to a different period of coverage or not included in this warranty. 
  1. 5. Consumables: Components subject to wear are NOT covered by the warranty: tires, inner tubes, chargers, brake lines, brake pads, rear rack, basket, crankset, pedals, fenders, wheel lining tape, spokes, light bulbs, LEDs, fuses, etc. 

If any warranty included parts happen to be damaged during shipping, please contact us (with photo/video proof) immediately after shipment arrival. Senada will send a replacement part at our expense and will work with you to fix the issue. 

Please note that for warranty issues, the customer is responsible for the cost of labor to install warrantied components, however, we will cover the shipping costs of warranty parts. 

If the warranty is void for any reason the customer shall bear any repair or replacement costs resulting from bicycle misuse, negligence, or abuse.

 Always follow care and preventive maintenance procedures.

 Always keep receipts from any services performed to the bicycle by an authorized distributor or service center.

 The warranty will be voided by any of the following circumstances: 

  1. Failure to follow all directions or recommendations listed in the user manual.
  2. Cycling collision, accident or bicycle damage caused by careless parking.
  3. Acts in violation of laws.
  4. If bicycle is resold.
  5. DIY repairs on electronics.
  6. Abusive use the bicycle in off-road terrain, mud, snow, water, sand, gravel, and water.
  7. If the bicycle is used as rental unit.
  8. Damages caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, flooding, and other hazards.
  9. Rust and/or paint fading caused by heavy exposure to rain, hail, snow, or direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
  10. Overloading beyond recommended capacity.
  11. Damage caused by nails, needles, broken glass, debris, sharp rocks, or other foreign objects.
  12. If the bicycle is used but not limited to stunts, jumping from ramps, stairs, or elevated ramps.
  13. If the bicycle is used in competitions or racing.
  14. If bicycle has been modified for any purposes on the motor, electrical system, suspension frame, and battery.
  15. Use of other components not approved by the manufacturer.
  16. Damages resulted from improper care and handling. 

Due to the nature of the product, some components must be exclusive from the manufacturer such as but not limited to the battery, motor, main gauge cluster, controllers, LED headlights, brake drums or disc rotors and pads etc. Other components such as tires, tubes, saddle, racks, baskets may be used from market-ready or compatible products previous approval from the retailer or manufacturer. 

Return Policy: 

Consumer Purchase Terms and Conditions – Cancellation and Return 

These Consumer Purchase Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Senada Bikes (“SNDB”, “us” or “we”), and apply to all consumer purchases by you of any model of SNDB’s electric bikes (“e-bike(s)”) and/or related accessories offered by SNDB (collectively with e-bikes, the “Products”) in the United States only. By purchasing any Products from SNDB, or by using the Products you hereby agree to these Terms in their entirety. 

Please read these Terms carefully and thoroughly as they list your obligations and rights. A dispute that you may have under these Terms will be taken to arbitration. 

BASIC CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY

To undertake a valid cancelation or return, you must obtain written approval for such cancelation or return from SNDB, which can be an approval email by contacting SNDB at support@senadabikes.com. Any cancellation without approval shall be rejected and the order process shall continue. Any Product sent back to SNDB by you without the written consent of SNDB shall be rejected and returned to you at your cost.

Regarding small flaws and slight stains/scratches on the paint surface of the e-bike and the relevant parts:

  1. Within seven days after receiving the package, please inspect the product. If there are any flaws/stains/scratches, you must report to us for further support. Exceeding this 7-day period is regarded as the flaws/stains/scratches caused by the customer during use. 
  1. If you find this issue and contact us within 7 days, we are willing to provide coupons and other means of compensation. 
  1. Small flaws and slight stains may be caused by unavoidable factors in the production and transportation process, and do not affect the normal use of the product. If you cannot accept it, please do not continue to assemble the product, and repackage the product to its original state, in the meantime, please contact us at contact@senadabikes.com for further assistance. 

CANCELLATION BEFORE SHIPPING LABEL CREATED 

For cancel order that is placed yet not attached with a shipping label, we will issue a full refund.

CANCELLATION BEFORE ORDER SHIPPED (SHIPPING LABEL ALREADY CREATED) 

An order that is with a shipping label yet has not shipped out shall be subject to ten percent (10%) of the original price processing fee. 

CANCELLATION AFTER ORDER SHIPPED 

When an order is shipped out, the shipment cannot be held up, customers need to reject the delivery package when it arrives or sign for the delivery package first and then contact Senada Bikes for a return shipping label. The refund will be issued after the package is returned and checked a twenty percent (20%) of the original price restocking fee shall be subject. 

CANCELLATION AFTER ORDER DELIVERED (PACKAGE NOT OPENED)

For delivery to be complete within 7 nature days, to cancel the order, customers are required to contact SNDB with photo and video evidence indicating that the package is not opened. After getting approval, customers will contact the original delivery services company to return the full package, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Twenty percent (20%) of the original price restocking fee shall be subject after the package is returned and checked. 

CANCELLATION AFTER USED (NON-QUALITY REASON) 

For delivery is complete within 30 nature days, to cancel the order with non-quality related reasons such as (include but not limited to):

  • Do not want/need.
  • Do not fit the size.
  • Do not like the product.
  • Do not accept compensation for minor shipment damage.
  • Do not like the quality of the free accessories, like fenders, rear rack, etc.

The e-bike must have less than ten (10) miles on the odometer, be free of any wear and tear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or any other signs of use, and must be in the same packaging and condition that you receive it. All items must be included like chargers, keys, hardware, etc. 

Customers are required to contact SNDB with photo and video evidence indicate that the e-bike is packed back as original to get prior authorization for the return, customers will contact the original delivery services company to return the full package, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Returns are not allowed after thirty (30) nature days of the delivery. 

The refund will be issued after the package is returned and checked a twenty five percent (25%) of the original price restocking fee shall be subject after the package is returned and checked. 

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCT

Non-returnable Products include but not limited to:

  • All accessories
  • Special orders
  • Used Products with a noticeable trace of use.
  • Sale items

Non-returnable Products shall not be returned except in extreme cases, customers are required to contact SNDB to get approval. 

REFUND CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS

In general cases, a refund will be complete in seven (7) business days. A refund may be late due to various reasons. Please contact SNDB with the relevant proof for further instructions. 

*NOTE

Please do not directly reject any FedEx/UPS packages from us if you request a return. Kindly sign for the parcel first and email us for a return shipping label before you return any item to us. 

30-day at-home trial 

At Senada, we aim to provide every single customer with the perfect product at the best price, as well as the greatest shopping experience, we offer the industry’s first 30-Day At-Home Trial policy. This allows you to try the bike at home for 30 days and if you are not happy with your new Senada bike, you can return it for an exchange or a refund within 30 days after receiving the bike! Returns or exchanges are only allowed once within 30 natural days of receiving the purchased vehicle. If the return claim is valid the customer will receive a refund for the purchase price minus a repacking and restocking fee of 25% of the original price. If you exchange e-bikes, we will charge a 20% restocking fee of original price. 

Return Policy 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be within a 30-day period. You must keep the original packaging and the bike must be repacked back into the original packaging when you send it back to us. Please note that all the returned ebikes, as well as batteries, If the return claim is valid the customer will receive a refund for the purchase price minus a repacking and restocking fee of 25% of original price. How to return 

Contact our Customer Service Department at contact@senadabikes.com to approve the return within 30 days. We have helpful suggestions if you are considering a return due to performance of the item, sizing, or for any other reason. Keep in mind that an exchange for a Senada product better suited to your needs is also possible. After the 30-day period expires, the product cannot be returned to Senada. All returns must be repacked back into the original packaging when you send it back to us. Photos will be needed as proves and necessary materials for the return, including but not limited to: 

  • All the bike parts are cleaned
  • The bike is fully disassembled and wrapped up with foam paper
  • All separate parts/keys/tools/accessories
  • The bike is packed up and put inside the original cargo box 

Please contact us and our customer service representative will provide you with a return address. Once your return is received, we will process refund in 2 to 3 weeks. Your refund will be credited back to your original method of payment. Once your refund has been processed, it will take 7 to 10 business days for your bank to process the credit and apply it to your account.

Shipping

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

In the United States, we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders with USPS, UPS, or FEDEX.

If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 3-5 business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@ebikematics.com.

Exchanges/Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Returns are not allowed after 30 days of the delivery date.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused or the e-bike must have less than ten (10) kilometers on the display, and must include all items that were inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the original purchase proof.
