Return Policy and Warranty

At Vanpowers, no order is complete until you are fully satisfied. Please shop with confidence knowing that we accept returns within 30 days of receipt by the customer. Please contact our support team to request a refund or get help with your order. There is no handling fee for our returns. You will receive your refund within 3-5 working days. Additionally, our e-bikes feature an excellent warranty service—for example, frames have a two-year warranty period. Please refer to the warranty policy for details.

Package received without error.

If you are unsatisfied for any reason, you can return your items within 30 days; the items must be unused, free of any wear, dirt, dust, fragrance, or any other signs of use, and in the original packaging. You are responsible for the shipping fee, but we will refund the original product cost upon receiving the returned item.

Package received with errors.

The return shipping cost is covered by us if an order is proven to have been provided in error by our company, including wrong items sent by us, quality problems, and other reasons accepted by our customer service team. Once we receive the items, we will offer compensation or send a replacement. Minor damage caused by transportation which does not affect the item’s use is not a valid reason for return.

Overview

  • Vanpowers bikes come with a limited warranty of up to 6 years from the date the customer receives the bike. This warranty is still valid if the bike is transferred to another owner.
  • Warranty claims must be made directly to Vanpowers. Any repairs while under warranty need to be executed by Vanpowers or approved by Vanpowers in advance. If not, Vanpowers has the right to refuse the warranty claim.

Limited Warranty Guidelines & Exceptions

  • During the warranty period, if any core parts are broken, we will provide a new bike for free. If any non-core parts covered by warranty are damaged, we will send replacement parts for free, including shipping. Once the warranty has expired, customers will need to purchase any replacement parts/accessories themselves and pay for shipping.
  • The warranty does not cover any consumables; any non-original or unauthorized parts; any covered part that has undergone normal wear and tear; or any covered part that has sustained damage due to failure to abide by the user manual, force majeure, accident, theft, intentional destruction, misuse, neglect, abuse, alteration, modification, improper assembly, user error, water damage, extreme riding, stunt riding, or improper/unauthorized maintenance and service.
  • For batteries, the warranty does not cover damage caused by improper charger use, improper maintenance or other misuse, normal wear and tear, water damage (batteries should be stored in a dry environment with a relative humidity of less than 85%), or improper storage (battery storage temperature should be controlled at 20–35 °C as much as possible).
  • Worn parts (including but not limited to tires, tubes, brake pads, parts with suspension, and cables) are not covered by warranty. We still provide assistance with these parts for a reasonable price, if needed.

    Price Match

    We work very hard to ensure that we offer the absolute best prices online.  If you find another online store that offers a lower price then us within 14 days of your purchase date please let us know and we will refund your original payment for the difference.  We want you to feel confident that you are getting the absolute best price for the product you are ordering.  If you find that our own website has a lower price for the same item you have ordered within 14 days of your purchase date will refund the difference as well.

    To request your partial refund simply e-mail us a link to the same product on our website, or on our competitors website within 14 days from the date of your order and we will process the credit accordingly.

    Our 100% Price Guarantee has some limitations:

    • You must purchase the item from our website before requesting your Price Match Guarantee
    • Promotions such as rebates and buy one, get one free offers are not eligible
    • The item must be in stock on the competitors website
    • The competitor must be an online store, they may not have a retail location
    • The website can not be a discounter or auction website (ie; eBay, overstock, etc..)
    • The competitor must be an Authorized Retailer of the product in question
    • The Price Match Guarantee includes the item price and the shipping charges, it excludes sales tax.

    Shipping

    Order Confirmation:

    As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

    Order Shipment:

    In the United States, we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders with USPS, UPS, or FEDEX.

    If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 3-5 business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@ebikematics.com.

    Exchanges/Returns

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

    Returns are not allowed after 30 days of the delivery date.

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused or the e-bike must have less than ten (10) kilometers on the display, and must include all items that were inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the original purchase proof.
