The Rattan Pathfinder electric bike is Rattan's newest member of the Challenger series e-bike range. This Rattan e-bike is a fat tire model boasting more resistance to all-terrain roads and environments. This ebike model, has a 360 lbs payload capacity, which is the highest of any of the Rattan models and is now a top suggestions for both delivery electric bike riders and even hunters hauling trailers.
This Rattan electric bike, has IPAS technology, meaning the cells in the e-bike regenerate upon braking to create further charge and enable you to "smart ride." This can add an extra 10+ miles onto your ride and is an awesome feature of the Rattan Pathfinder model. Weighing at 60-65 lbs this electric bike comes in 2 models, the step through and the step over models. While the step overs are a popular model for keen mountain bikers, the step through frame model is far more accessible, also for riders looking to recover from injury or in rehabilitation. Rattan Warranty
At Rattan, we provide up to 2 years warranty for Rattan ebikes (except LM/LF series, Challenger, Compass and the old version of Pathfinder, these models are provided with a 1-year Warranty). In general, we will cover most problems of the system and defects from the factory. The Warranty will be activated at the date of order purchase.

Exceptions
The warranty will automatically expire if any unauthorized modification occurs. During the service ordering process, you must notify us of any unauthorized modifications, or any repairs or replacements not performed by Rattan, that have been made to your product. We will not be responsible for any damage to the product that occurs during the repair process that is a result of any unauthorized modifications or repairs or replacements not performed by Rattan.
The warranty will NOT cover the problems caused by any of the following causes.
- Any misuse of the product, such as using the bike for commercial/rental uses, play dangerous act, etc., riding the bike on the abnormal road conditions.
- Any unauthorized modification to the product, such as disassemble the bike without direction by Rattan, faulty installation, repair, or maintenance by anyone other than Rattan,
- The product has not been in any accidents, such as traffic accidents.
- The product has been in extreme environment (including extreme temperature or humidity), extreme physical or electrical stress or interference, fluctuation or surges of electrical power, lightning, static electricity, fire, acts of God or other external causes.
- Anti-rust layer damage caused by misuse (the damage of anti-rust layer can lead to the corrosion and fracture of the parts).

- Pictures/Short videos of the problems and a brief description of the problems
Parts and Labor. Rattan may provide both parts and labor but may direct that you replace certain readily installable parts yourself, as described below. In most cases, we do not require you to send the defective parts back to us. If applicable law requires Rattan to return a replaced item to you, you agree to pay Rattan the retail cost of the replacement item and shipping.
Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Parts Service. DIY Parts Service allows you to service your own product. If Rattan determines that DIY Parts Service is available to you, Rattan will ship to you a replacement part for your product. The replacement part will be accompanied by instructions on installation and any requirements for the return of the replaced part. Rattan reserves the right to decide if the labor costs relating to DIY Parts Service will be covered or not.
For any repair outside the Warranty. Even if your problems are not covered by the Warranty, you can purchase replacement parts from us. As the manufacturer, we offer competitive prices for the parts of our bikes. To purchase replacement parts from us, please contact us at info@rattanebike.com for further information.

Return Policy
Order Cancellation
For all orders (including pre-orders), your credit/debit card will be charged immediately. There will be no delay in payment collection, regardless of when the item is expected to ship.
BEFORE SHIPMENT: Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery policy for order cancellation.
AFTER SHIPMENT: If the order is shipped and cannot be modified, the customer may reject the package and $180 will be charged as a cancellation fee. If the customer has received the order, please contact us for the return. The customer is also responsible for the return shipping cost of $180. Rattan will provide a return shipping label, and the designated carrier will collect the return package. The customer may also choose self-return or arrange the return shipment by himself.
Please note: If the customer decided to arrange the return shipment by himself and the request has been confirmed by Rattan’s customer service team, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the shipping and the success of the return. The customer must choose the signature confirmation service for the shipment, and we highly recommend adding additional shipping insurance for the return package. Rattan will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or other accidents to the shipment arranged by the customer.
The customer needs to email Rattan’s customer service team regarding any order cancellation. Once an order cancellation request has been approved, Rattan will email the customer a cancellation notification email. The customer shall not send a return package to Rattan without receiving a notification. Rattan will reject all shipments without being scheduled to arrive, and the customer is responsible for any related fee or loss.
Return
Returning malfunctioning bikes within 15 days of receipt. Rattan offers FREE return and exchange for malfunctioning bikes within 15 days of receipt.
Returns are not allowed after 15 days of the delivery date.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, or the ebike must have less than ten (10) miles on the odometer. Must include all items that were inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.) with the original packaging.
Damages And Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You need to provide a clear photo or video showing the product problem with a receipt of your order attachment. Photos/videos should ideally be clear and focused, taken under good lighting conditions, and from a close to medium distance. This allows us to identify and verify the issue (s).
*Definition of critically damaged items: the main structure of the product is obviously deformed and affects its normal functions in any form.
Note: the following situations will be seen as normal and will not apply to the free replacement or refund policy:
- A) Minor damage to the outer packaging.
- B) Minor scratches or paint loss on the product.
- C) Damage to parts or wearing parts after excessive use.
- D) Damage to parts or wearing parts after using them for a certain while or a certain number of times.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@rattanebike.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Rattan is not responsible for the shipping cost of the package returned by the customers themselves.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Product from Unauthorized Reseller
- The damage is caused by the customer.
- The accessories and replacement parts
- The used bikes with no quality problem
- Special order
- Sale items or gift cards
- Giveaways or free items
Returning Cost
The shipping cost of returning service will be borne by customers if the ebike has no quality problem.
- $180 will be charged as the delivery fees and Rattan will provide shipping labels.
- Ships the ebike back to Rattan's warehouse on your own.

Quality Issues Reimbursement |
If you believe your item is defective and was purchased within the last 2 years from our authorized dealer, please contact us at info@rattanebike.com, and provide photos or videos containing the actual defects as there may be a simple fix for your problem. The Rattan E-bike support team could provide you with technical solutions. If the issues still cannot be resolved, we would recommend you bring the item to your local bike repair store for fixing, and we would like to provide reimbursement for the defectiveness. Please note that to be eligible for the reimbursement, i) a valid print invoice/digital invoice of the repair shop (handwriting invoices are not eligible); ii) the amount of reimbursement cannot exceed twice the price of the corresponding parts for the repair. iii) We do not offer exchanges when parts are damaged again. Only one replacement per part will be accepted |

Price Match
We work very hard to ensure that we offer the absolute best prices online. If you find another online store that offers a lower price then us within 14 days of your purchase date please let us know and we will refund your original payment for the difference. Shipping
Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Order Shipment:
In the United States, we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders with USPS, UPS, or FEDEX.
If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within 3-5 business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@ebikematics.com.
Exchanges/Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Returns are not allowed after 30 days of the delivery date.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused or the e-bike must have less than ten (10) kilometers on the display, and must include all items that were inside the box (charger, keys, hardware, etc.), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the original purchase proof.
